Viktoriia Dudakova was the first TKO loser of 2025 in the UFC as she fell to Fatima Kline during the prelims at UFC Vegas 101 on Saturday afternoon.
Following the loss, which came from a series of vicious elbows from Kline, Dudakova was being tended to by one of her coaches when another, Gasanali Gasanaliev, approached her to offer some consoling.
Dudakova wasn’t having it, and she quickly slapped Gasanaliev’s face and moved away from him. Dudakova then pointed to something outside of the Octagon, and her actions led to several reactions on social media.
Here is a look at Dudakova slapping her coach.
Setanta Sports’ Giorgi Kokiashvili called Dudakova’s actions insane, and he spoke up for the man he identified as Gasanali Gasanaliev.
Verdict MMA and Spinnin Backfist opted for a more comedic, tongue-in-cheek response to Dudakova’s frustration.
It’s unclear if there was an exchange during the fight or something that occurred during training that prompted the slap. In any case, it was definitely a strange post-fight event.
Coming into the fight, Dudakova was the biggest underdog on the card. The 25-year-old was making a good account of herself through most of the first round before Kline solved the Russian’s grappling game. In the second round, Kline wasted little time breaking through Dudakova’s defenses.
Within the first 90 seconds of the second round, Kline had taken Dudakova down, transitioned to full mount, and ultimately positioned herself to rain down the decisive elbows.
As was the case in Dudakova’s last fight, a split-decision loss to Sam Hughes in August 2024, her stamina failed her. Dudakova looked gassed early in the second round and couldn’t recover.
Dudakova is physically strong and possesses an obvious fighting spirit, but poise and conditioning are key if she wants to advance her career.
Kline came to the UFC with a good amount of hype, but she lost her promotional debut to Jasmine Jasudavicius. Kline took that fight on short notice and as a flyweight.
Kline is more comfortable as a strawweight and she proved that on Saturday against Dudakova. Early in the card, Kline established herself as one of the biggest standout of the prelims.
