SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base at 7:28 p.m. Monday. The rocket carried a payload of 22 Starlink satellites into space. It became visible from San Diego less than 2 minutes after the launch. Falcon 9 is a reusable, two-stage rocket designed and manufactured by SpaceX. Falcon 9 is the world’s first orbital class reusable rocket, according to the SpaceX website.
